1973 Bottecchia Special Model in original "collectable" condition.

Here are the specs taken straight from my 1973 sales brochure (with my additions):

Frame: Steel Made, finished lugs welded pump connections. (Straight gauge tubing)

Finish: Flamboyant colors with chromium plated steering lug, fork head, front and rear fork ends. (Blue paint with applied stickers)

Chainwheel: Double plateau

Hubs: Aluminum large flange, quick release

Speed gear: CAMPAGNOLO VALENTINO EXTRA with derailleur- 10 speed

Freewheel : Quintuple (Regina 5 speed)

Brakes: Aluminum Sport Model, center pull (Universal with quick releases, pads have been recently replaced with newer Dia-Compe)

Handlebar: Aluminum, racing model with tape and plugs (Nice "Carnielli" lugged stem)

Rims: Chromium plated steel, sport model 27 x 1.1/4"

Spokes: Chromium plated, double butted

Tyres and tubes: Black/Hazel with schrader valve (Original Pneumatici Clement tires)

Pedals: Metal, racing model (Sheffield)

Saddle: Racing model, plastic

Pump: Aluminum (missing)

Frame measures 22" from BB center to top of seat tube. Any very minor paint chips on the frame have been carefully touched up. Handlebar tape is newly replaced with black cotton. (Original was white cotton.) Universal Brake hoods and Clement tires, though original are somewhat brittle and cracking. All chrome is shiny and bright.
